Role
We are looking for a Risk Operations Specialist to join the Information Security & Risk team in Hong Kong. You will own day-to-day risk operations across our exchange and digital asset products, working closely with Compliance, Trading, Tech and Product to identify, assess and mitigate operational, market, credit and counter-party risks.

Key Responsibilities
– Monitor real-time risk exposure across spot / derivatives / OTC / custody products and escalate anomalies
– Investigate suspicious transactions, account behaviour and market manipulation patterns; produce SAR / risk reports
– Maintain and tune risk control rules (limits, thresholds, KYT signals); collaborate with Tech to deploy rule changes
– Run incident response and root-cause analysis on risk events; drive corrective actions across teams
– Build dashboards and weekly/monthly risk reporting for senior management
– Liaise with Compliance / Legal on regulatory inquiries (HKMA / SFC) and internal audits

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree or above
– 3+ years of risk operations experience in crypto exchange / brokerage / fintech / banking
– Strong English and Mandarin (written + spoken)
– Hands-on experience with risk monitoring tools, SQL, basic Python is a plus
– Web3 / on-chain analytics experience strongly preferred (Chainalysis / Elliptic / TRM / Arkham etc.)

Nice to have
– CFA / FRM / PRM certification
– Experience with HKMA / SFC regulated entities
– Familiarity with smart contract risk and DeFi protocols
